Dr. Alaa Kandil
As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Kandil enjoys being the patient’s primary physician, working with specialists, as needed, to coordinate the best care for his patients. Individualized attention, a personalized approach and comprehensive care for each patient are foremost priorities in his routine of treatment.
Dr. Kandil believes in developing a strong patient-physician relationship to improve patients’ quality of life and longevity. His patients value the time he takes to listen to their concerns, explain the diagnosis, answer questions and explore their treatment options.
Dr. Kandil completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center/New York Medical College. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Kandil has worked in various hospitals in the Northeast and in Florida and currently works at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL.
Born and raised in Egypt, Dr. Kandil received his medical degree in 2001. Since then, he practiced medicine in various clinical settings which left him with a broad range of medical experience and an ability to quickly assess critical situations and appropriately come up with an action plan. He has practiced medicine for more than 16 years, but never lost quest for new advancements in patient treatment.
In his leisure time, he enjoys bike riding and woodworking, building furniture with his semi-professional carpenter equipment. His ideal relaxing time is sitting by the ocean, drinking a cup of coffee with his wife and two children.
Dr Kandil enjoys welcoming every patient into the practice. He and the entire EraCare staff take pride in creating a warm and friendly environment and making treatment comfortable and convenient.

Dr. Emad Abdelsatar
Dr. Abdelsatar received his formal medical training in Cairo, Egypt. During his medical career in Egypt, Dr. Abdelsatar worked as the supervising physician for a multinational oil company where he was solely responsible for the medical care of thousands of employees in the field. His critical thinking skills and ability to work well under pressure was an asset when faced with complicated and sometimes life threatening cases.
Dr. Abdelsatar’s medical career later brought him to the United States where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and then to Florida after becoming Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Abdelsatar worked in various hospitals throughout central Florida before settling down on Clermont as the location to start his practice. He has served Clermont and the surrounding area for more than 4 years and happily laid his roots here.
Being published many times Dr. Abdelsatar keeps up to date with changes in medicine, constantly researching and reading about the various aspects of Internal Medicine. He is described as a very classical physician who likes to take his time to get to know his patients, taking a thorough history and detailed examination. He also believes there is a missed opportunity in utilizing technology in patient care and believes by using the available technology it can decrease medical errors and improve doctor – patient communications. He is always researching new and better ways to improve the delivery of health services utilizing the latest technologies.
Dr. Abdelsatar believes in crafting unique management plans that fit each patient as an individual. His hard work and dedication paired with his compassion and passion for medicine are traits that his patients value. Dr. Abdelsatar knows the importance of understanding the patient as a whole, including family history, which he feels is an integral part of patient care. He always has the time to discuss each patient’s health history to properly understand the intricate details that will ensure he gives the best possible medical care. Dr. Abdelsatar works closely with patients’ specialists bringing a well rounded level of care to each patient which is critical when dealing with a patient’s primary care needs.
In his leisure time, Dr. Abdelsatar enjoys the outdoors with his wife and two daughters, riding bikes, going to the playground or just kicking a soccer ball around. He enjoys reading up on the latest technology and often dissembles and reassembles his computers in his spare time. His ideal relaxing time is listening to one of his favorite audio books or compilation of ancient Arabic poetry.
